Tech big Intel has canceled all enterprise services in Russia amid the ongoing war in Ukraine.
Almost a month soon after Intel paused shipments to prospects in Russia and Belarus, the company announced it was suspending all of its enterprise operations in the country.
“Intel continues to join the world local community in condemning Russia’s war towards Ukraine and calling for a swift return to peace,” Intel stated Tuesday in a statement. “Effective promptly, we have suspended all company operations in Russia. This follows our earlier determination to suspend all shipments to consumers in Russia and Belarus.”
A spokesperson for Intel verified to HuffPost that functions would be suspended indefinitely.
Intel reported it will go on to “support all of our workforce via this difficult predicament, such as our 1,200 staff members in Russia” and has “implemented small business continuity actions to minimize disruption to our world-wide operations.”
