The Pikes Peak Modest Enterprise Advancement Middle and Much better Enterprise Bureau of Southern Colorado declared 2022 Smaller Enterprise Week Awards winners at a June 4 celebration at Purple Leg Brewery.

This winners are:

  • Modest Business Person of the 12 months — Torie Giffin, owner of Buffalo Lodge Bicycle Vacation resort LLC

  • Younger Entrepreneur of the 12 months — Bobby Mikulas, CEO and co-founder of Kinship Landing

  • Veteran Small Business Proprietor of the 12 months — David Thompson, proprietor of Winds of Adjust Remodeling, Inc.

  • Tiny Organization Winner of the Year — Joe Aldaz, president of the Colorado Springs Hispanic Chamber of Commerce

  • Spouse and children-Owned Modest Enterprise of the Calendar year — Bob Penkhus Motor Company

, in honor of the region’s 7 days of events and workshops to celebrate and help local compact organizations.

Jonathan Liebert, CEO and govt director of BBB of Southern Colorado, said in a release that tiny companies nationwide deliver nearly two-thirds of net new employment in the non-public sector. Much more than 90 per cent of the regional BBB’s accredited organizations have 20 or much less personnel, the launch mentioned.

“It’s vital that we keep on to aid and encourage tiny business enterprise proprietors,” Liebert claimed.

Aikta Marcoulier, previous government director of the Pikes Peak SBDC who a short while ago turned administrator of the U.S. Compact Business Administration’s Region 8 office environment in Denver, explained small organizations “make tradition, innovate, and increase vitality to our region.”

The 10th annual Small Company 7 days operates till June 8, concluding with a State of Tiny Business discussion and report from Pikes Peak SBDC and BBB leaders. The occasion operates 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the Town Auditorium.
